The project consisted of the complete renovation of 5,000 SF of an existing building into a state-of-the-art emergency veterinary care facility. The renovations included the addition of a new front fa?ade with copper cladding and clerestory windows over the waiting area to bring in more natural light. The exterior of the facility features a copper-clad presidium tower with copper siding covering the ends of the existing barrel roof. This challenging use of copper turned a once drab and dilapidated structure into an eye-catching showpiece.
The clinic also includes many systems normally found in a hospital environment including medical gas and oxygen lines, x-ray facilities, a surgical room, laboratory facilities, and a pharmacy.
